The Aspen Junior National Qualifiers (JNQs) were a huge success for the Durango Nordic team! The warm weather was a bit of a surprise, with some skiers opting for shorts and tank tops—definitely a sign of spring skiing! The coaches had their hands full with the waxing, but their expertise ensured the skis were dialed in perfectly for the conditions.
The course was challenging, with lots of hills that reminded us of the terrain at the Durango Nordic Center. Our athletes pushed their limits on the climbs and maintained great speed on the technical downhills, showing off the skills they've honed back home.
