This event is our annual youth programs fundraiser. Everyone is welcome to join the fun!
Team Format: Anything goes! Find three people and form a team. We strongly encourage people who don’t typically race to join a team.
Race Format: NEW for 2025: Each racer will complete TWO 1.5ish km laps. All U12 racers will complete ONE 1.5ish km lap. This will be a mass start. The format is Racer A, Racer B, Racer C, Racer A, Racer B, Racer C. This is not a timed race - first one across the finish line gets all the glory and maybe a bit of heckling.
The cost for registering an adult/mixed youth & adult team is $40 until 5 PM on Friday, January 24. After 5 pm, the price will increase to $50. Youth teams (all participants under 18) are $30/$40 after 5 pm on Friday, January 24.
All proceeds benefit youth programs and team needs. For the 2024-2025 season, we are to offset expenses for our van as well as support our coaching staff!
Schedule:
9 AM - 9:45 AM: Bib Pick-up & Late Registration ($50) on the deck at the Durango Nordic Center
10:00 AM: Race Start
